Samar Das


Ph.D. Marketing University of Arizona, M.B.A. IIM Ahmedabad

Samar combines a passion for marketing and branding strategy with the analytical rigor and knowledge of an academic. He has deep experience in enabling brand, business and customer service transformation across the media and entertainment, financial services, healthcare and consumer retail industries. Prior to founding C3Research in 2002, he was an award winning marketing professor at the University of Central Florida, teaching MBA courses on marketing strategy and Ph.D. seminars on Consumer Behavior. Samar began his marketing career with Berger Paints India, where as the national marketing manager he led a team to launch several successful national brands, enabling the company to become the second largest in the industry in just 4 years.

Joseph Plummer


Ph.D., Communications, Ohio State University

Joe is a senior adviser assisting the team in brand and advertising research. Joe had a stellar career as the Global Executive Vice President of McCann-Erickson WorldGroup in New York, Vice Chairman DMD&B New York, and Executive Vice President, Young and Rubicam New York. Joe sits on the board of several companies, and is also an Adjunct Professor at the Columbia Business School.

Jessica Kuack

VP, Consumer Research

B.S.B.A., Marketing, University of Central Florida

Jessica leads the Consumer Research Group, directing consumer research and satisfaction studies for several large clients. Having been with C3Research for over 10 years, she has developed an extensive portfolio in healthcare research, providing strategic guidance with measurable impact for major healthcare clients. She oversees projects for local and national clients and manages a team of Research Directors and Executives. As an expert qualitative researcher she also specializes in conducting focus groups and individual in-depth interviews.

Jake Junot

VP, Global Accounts

M.B.A., University of Central Florida

Jake heads the Global Accounts Group at C3Research and manages a team of Research Directors and Executives.  In his five years with C3Research, Jake has managed and successfully grown global research capabilities at the company.  He oversees research projects in the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.  He is an expert in retail research and strategy, both digital and brick and mortar, and has vast experience in qualitative and quantitative study formats.

Tamas Pataky

Associate VP, New York

B.S.B.A., Marketing and Finance, University of Central Florida

Tamas joined C3Research after graduating in Marketing and Finance from The Burnett Honors College at the University of Central Florida. He is the engagement manager for New York clients, designing and conducting studies in segmentation, branding, advertising effectiveness and product testing. Tamas manages a team of associates in Orlando working across different industries including healthcare, media, and advertising.

Eduard Rozen

Associate VP, Technology

B.S.B.A., Marketing, University of Central Florida

Eduard manages the technical support and development function at C3Research and oversees the WebLab.  He has been a member of the C3Research team for over a decade and has worked on projects both domestically and internationally.  He has designed and implemented lab processes and led training seminars for company executives and staff. He is also responsible for evaluating new technologies and IT systems in the company.

Carolyn Massiah

Senior Research Fellow

Ph.D., Marketing, Arizona State University

Carolyn specializes in intergroup relations among consumers within the Services Marketing and Consumer Marketing domains such as consumption experiences, commercial friendships, commercial social support, ethnic consumptions, nested identities, sense of community, and social networks. She is an experienced qualitative researcher and has conducted numerous studies using qualitative methodologies.

Stefanie Garcia

Senior Research Fellow

M.B.A., Florida International University

Stefanie specializes in the fields of marketing research, internet marketing, advertising, public relations, direct marketing, graphic design, communications, and international business. She conducts qualitative research to build branding, advertising, and digital strategies for regional, national and international companies.

Gayle Marks

Associate Research Director, Biometrics and Neuroscience

Ph.D., Mass Communication, Indiana University Bloomington

Gayle specializes in cognitive and emotional processing of media messages.  She employs biometric methods that reveal consumers’ attention, emotions, and motivations in real time. These methods are integrated with the Weblab capabilities that explore advertising effectiveness, website optimization, usability, and product development, among others. Prior to joining C3Research in 2015, Gayle taught university courses in Persuasion, Public Relations, and Health Communication.

Aditi Kalra

Associate Research Director

M.B.A., Clark University

Aditi is a member of the Consumer Research Group at C3Research, where she designs, conducts, and manages both qualitative and quantitative studies for local and national clients. Since joining C3Research in 2013, she has become an expert in the healthcare industry and also conducts research for restaurants, retailers, advertisers, and other industries. Aditi is versed in the latest research methodologies and equipment and conducts research on a wide range of topics from branding and advertising to website and product testing.

Emily Gottfried

Associate Research Director

M.B.A., University of Central Florida

Emily has designed and managed local, national, and international studies, with experience on both the Consumer Research and Global Accounts teams. She has conducted research for a variety of industries, including healthcare, technology, and higher education, and covered topics from consumer satisfaction, branding, and advertising effectiveness to retail and product testing. Her experience also includes a variety of methodologies, including quantitative surveys, in-depth interviews, focus groups, and mock retail testing.
